Online donations not activated?

If your Profile Page is stating "school not registered for online fundraising", this means that the school has not registered for online fundraising. We do require the school to register for online in order for the students to be able to receive online donations from family and friends. 

How do I create an avatar?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On your Dashboard click the View Page button: this will direct you to your Profile Page.
  3. Click the Create An Avatar button under your current Profile Page image.
  4. You can choose from a generated avatar or create your own.
  5. You can adjust facial features and colours by clicking on the right hand side. For example; Eyes, Nose and Face.
  6. Once you have completed creating your avatar click Create.

How can i view my donations/messages?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On your Dashboard click the View Page button: this will direct you to your Profile Page.
  3. Under the Donation Feed section it will display the donations received both online and in cash together with the sponsor's name and message.

How do I add another profile page?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On your Dashboard there will be an Add New Page tab up the top right hand corner.
  3. You will need to follow through the steps to create the page for your child.
  4. All of your children's dashboard overviews will show on your dashboard.

How do I view the leaderboard?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On your dashboard there will be a Leaderboard button in the overview of your child's page.
  3. A pop up will occur, you will then be able to view the whole school leaderboard along with per class (please note if the school has not provided us with classroom names, the class leaderboard will show the same as the whole school leaderboard).

My login from the previous year is not working?

At the end of each calendar year, we do remove all page creations and parent accounts in order to start fresh for the new year. If you have previously created a parent account on the Plant A Difference website you will need to re-create a parent account.

Certain buttons/tabs are not working?

This could be due to the internet browser that is being used. We do suggest to try and use google chrome or mozilla firefox compared to internet explorer or safari. Certain models of these browsers that are out of date can block certain things on the website.

How do i edit my goal?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On the dashboard click the Edit Info button.
  3. Re-select your Fundraising Goal Amount and click Submit.

How do i add cash donations?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On the dashboard or your Profile Page click the Add Cash button.
  3. Enter the amount together with the sponsor's name and click the Add Money button.
  4. Confirm the amount added.
  5. The cash amount will appear on both your Profile Page and Dashboard summary.

How to remove cash donations?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On your dashboard click the View Page button: this will redirect you to your Profile Page.
  3. Under the Recent Donation section it will display the donations received both online and in cash together with the sponsor's name.
  4. Find the cash donation you wish to remove and under the amount there is remove cash donation link.
  5. Click this link and the cash donation amount will be removed from your Profile Page.

Password reset not working?

If you are unable to login to the Plant A Difference website due to an incorrect password you can reset your password at http://www.plantadifference.com.au/forgot

Please enter the email address attached to your account and click the Submit button. An automated email will be sent with instructions on how to reset your password. If you do not receive this email please check your Spam and Junk folder as your email provider may consider it as spam.

Where do i return cash donations to?

Please complete and return the back page of the sponsorship form together with any cash donations to the school in a clearly marked envelope.

Where are the tree's I raised funds for planted?

Tree and shrub plantings take place in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in the northern wheatbelt region of Southwest Australia, significantly one of only 35 global biodiversity hotspots. These are regions that have an exceptionally high number of plant and animal species found nowhere in the world. The biodiversity hotspot label recognises that these plants, animals and ecosystems are at extreme risk of destruction.

The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor was once vibrant with expansive woodlands of york gum and salmon gum trees. But from the early 1900s, europeans have cleared more than 97% of the vegetation so they could farm. Now, parts of the landscape are not suitable for traditional agriculture due to problem soils that are increasingly uneconomic to farm in a drying climate.

How can i see how many tree's i have raised funds for?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On the dashboard there will be a button that will show how many tree's have been raised.

How can i see how much i have raised?

  1. Login to the Plant A Difference website at www.plantadifference.com.au/login
  2. On the dashboard there will be a button that will show the amount raised.

How do i change the fundraising dates?

The coordinator running the event for the school/group will need to contact Australian Fundraising on 1300 133 022 in order to change these dates. Coordinators please note these dates cannot be changed from your coordinator portal.

Someone has donated to my page, why isn't it showing up?

If a donor has made a donation and it is not showing up on your Profile Page after 1 hour, please contact us via the " Need Help?" button or via phone on 1300 133 022.

How do i delete a duplicate page?

If you have accidently created 2 pages, please contact us via the "Need Help?" button or via phone on 1300 133 022.
